In a jaw-dropping revelation, Nana Kwame Bediako, widely known as Cheddar and leader of the New Force movement, has shared the extraordinary tale of how he amassed his first million pounds at the tender age of 21 while in London, United Kingdom.
Cheddar attributed his financial triumph to a strategic blend of ventures in telecommunications and a shrewd foray into the business of selling scraps. Narrating his entrepreneurial journey, he disclosed that his initial million-dollar windfall empowered him to invest $20,000 in establishing a nightclub in Ghana back in 2002.
During an exclusive interview on Citi TV, Cheddar recounted, “The first money I made in England altogether was a million pounds, and I was 21. I was working for myself, my company was GT, Global Telecommunications and Utilities, and I was selling scrap. I had my own office, and I had two employees.”
Cheddar, not just content with his financial accomplishments, also made a promise to the youth. He pledged to provide opportunities for the younger generation to actively participate in the country’s decision-making processes, including the selection of leaders if he were to be elected as President.
“I think that the New Force is standing for the youth in this country. We believe that in the past four decades, the youth should have the right to be a part of the decision. How and who is going to lead us and how they are supposed to lead us,” he emphatically declared.
