Mohammed Kudus Withdraws from Ghana’s Friendlies Due to Shoulder Injury

Ghana’s national football team, the Black Stars, will be without midfielder Mohammed Kudus during the upcoming friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda in the March international break. The player has been forced to withdraw from the squad due to a shoulder injury.

Kudus, who was included in head coach Otto Addo’s squad for the matches, has had to pull out due to the injury concern. The 23-year-old recently featured for West Ham United in the Premier League, playing the full duration of their last game, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Despite being initially named in the squad, Kudus was not listed among the players set to travel for the international break on West Ham’s official website. As a result, he will remain in London to undergo treatment and recover from the shoulder injury.

The Black Stars are scheduled to face Nigeria on March 22, followed by a match against Uganda four days later. Kudus’ absence will be felt by the team, but his health and recovery are of paramount importance as he aims to return to full fitness for future matches.
