George Frimpong Basoah, an accomplished communications and media expert, brings over 7 years of progressive experience to his multifaceted roles. Currently serving as Editor-In-Chief and Managing Director for the Storyline News Website, George Frimpong Basoah concurrently holds the position of Deputy Chief Information Officer with Ghana’s Ministry of Information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his governmental capacity, George Frimpong Basoah offers strategic guidance and training to public agencies for the effective implementation of the Right to Information Act. His responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating performance and ensuring quality assurance in the delivery of state information services across Ghana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the driving force behind Storyline, George Frimpong Basoah sets the editorial direction and content strategy for the independent news platform. Leveraging his extensive background in journalism, communications, and public policy, he develops impactful story angles grounded in thoughtful analysis. Under his leadership, Storyline has evolved into one of Ghana’s most trusted online news sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

George Frimpong Basoah’s expertise extends to his previous role as Media Relations Lead for private companies like Alive and Kicking Ghana Limited. Here, he excelled in media management, events promotion, and strategic communications \u2013 experiences that enrich his newsroom leadership role today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armed with a Master’s in Development Communications and a Bachelor\u2019s in Communication Studies, George Frimpong Basoah boasts well-rounded competencies in critical thinking, relationship management, verbal and written communications, and creative problem-solving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
