The Asanteman Europe Association, a non-profit organization representing Asantes in Europe, is gearing up to host a grand festival in Amsterdam, Netherlands and Hamburg Germany. Scheduled to take place from August 30, 2025 and September 06, 2026 respectively. These eagerly awaited events promises to showcase the richness of Asante’s culture to the world.
The association officially launched the festival on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Center for National Culture in the Ashanti Region.
Nana Yaw Boakye Yiadom, a prominent member of the Association and the Queen Mother of Asante in Switzerland, expressed the association’s readiness to promote Asante culture globally.
Other dignitaries at the programme included the Management of the Centre for National Culture, Ashanti Region, led by the Regional Director, Mr. Peter K Marfo; Nana Akua Sika Nyarko Aboraa III, Manso Nkwantahemaa, among others.
