ALAN KYEREMATEN: “MY PRESIDENTIAL AMBITION IS DRIVEN BY LOVE FOR GHANA”

Alan Kyerematen, founder of the Movement for Change and the presidential candidate of the Afrafranto Alliance, has clarified that his pursuit of the presidency is fueled by a profound love for Ghana rather than mere political ambition. “I am not in this to simply win power,” he stated. “My commitment to Ghana and the well-being of every Ghanaian is what drives me forward. We need to put Ghana first and rise above political lines for the sake of our future.” His message resonates with supporters who see his platform as a transformative vision for the nation.

During the second day of his caravan campaign tour, Kyerematen engaged with residents in Weija and Bortiano, emphasizing his goal of creating a prosperous Ghana that includes every citizen. “This campaign is not just about votes; it’s about listening to Ghanaians, hearing their challenges, and ensuring we act on them,” he affirmed, underscoring his commitment to a people-centered approach. His call for a government of national unity struck a chord with many, as he urged Ghanaians of all political backgrounds to join his movement. “Let’s build a coalition that goes beyond party colors because Ghana’s future is more important than any political affiliation,” he declared.

Kyerematen’s outreach extends beyond mere dialogue; he aims to foster collaboration with community leaders to build a stronger presence across the nation. “Local leaders play a critical role in the development of their communities, and their support is vital to our vision,” he noted. During his tour, he shared practical steps to address pressing issues such as youth unemployment, education, and healthcare, all integral to his Great Transformational Plan (GTP). “I’m not here to make promises for the sake of it; we have a clear plan to build an economy that supports all Ghanaians,” he emphasized.

The response from local communities has been overwhelmingly positive, with residents expressing their desire for a leader invested in grassroots issues. “This is what we’ve been waiting for—a leader who will actually listen to us,” remarked a Weija resident. Kyerematen’s commitment to unity and progress reflects his vision for a new Ghana, where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive. “What drives my interest in politics is not the allure of power. It is my love for Ghana,” he concluded, inspiring many to view him as a leader dedicated to national progress and community empowerment.
