NEW JUABEN SOUTH NPP LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN WITH ENTHUSIASTIC HEALTH WALK

The New Juaben South constituency in the Eastern region has officially kicked off its campaign for the upcoming 2024 elections, led by Member of Parliament Michael Okyere Baafi. The launch took place in Koforidua, where party executives and supporters gathered to show their commitment to the NPP’s agenda. This event not only marks the start of campaign activities but also allows members to actively canvass for votes for the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and for Baafi himself ahead of the December 7 polls.

The campaign launch was energized by a mega health walk that attracted thousands of NPP supporters, all united in their purpose. Participants walked several kilometers, showcasing their dedication to the party and its mission. The event was well-attended by party officials and fellow Members of Parliament from the Eastern region, further demonstrating the solidarity within the party.

In his address to the enthusiastic crowd, MP Baafi urged supporters to intensify their efforts in reaching out to the community. “As we launch the campaign, I encourage you to engage everyone, from the ghettos to the slums, to share the message of Dr. Bawumia and the NPP,” he emphasized. He underscored the importance of unity within the party, thanking various leaders for setting aside differences in pursuit of a common goal.

Echoing Baafi’s sentiments, Eastern Regional Chairman Jeff Konadu Addo highlighted the significance of supporting a Muslim candidate in the elections. He urged Muslim constituents to rally behind Dr. Bawumia, stating that it would be a mistake to vote against one of their own. With the campaign officially underway, the NPP aims to break the eight-year cycle of governance, rallying its members for what promises to be a competitive election season.
